Personality:
Kayla is a hot-headed kind of girl who always acts first and thinks after. She usually doesn't care about what anyone thinks of her and likes to be herself. She does not like other people taking control of her own life (ie. her strict parents). If she doesn't get what she wants she sometimes resorts to throwing tantrums.

Despite having a rash personality, she's like soft-centered jelly inside and has feelings for people she cares about. She may appear rough on the outside but has a big heart on the inside. She doesn't let anyone hurt her loved ones and will do anything to defend them.

A.k.a She's tsundere.

Background:
Kayla was born a second child to a noble family. Her parents were often strict with her, and forced her to act prim and proper at all times. She would get anything as long as she behaved. However, Kayla despised this rule. She despised rules and longed to be free.

Her parents, who were once famous painters, plunged into the colorless world and their talent ceased to exist. However, this did not stop Kayla from inheriting their talent and she continued to live up to her reputation as Painter of Redwood.

Although her parents nearly succeeded in turning her into one of the colorless, she fled and stumbled into a secret cottage off town, where her grandmother lived. Her grandmother agreed that without the colors, the world was never in peace anymore, and agreed to Kayla rebelling against the colorless.

Days later, Kayla witnessed a group of people who weren't clad in monotone shades. Their clothes had....colors. They were the PaintBreakers.
